This fan is a big disappointment. You literally have to be 3 feet in front of it to feel the wind on the highest setting.Additionally, assembly is required.
In comparison, the Hawaiian Breeze Tower Fan we have (sold here on Amazon) puts out a gale force wind, and it actually has a remote control.
The only place this fan may be useful in your office cube, pointed right at you, level with the top of your desk. Obviously, Holmes has been bought by a get-rich-quick-off-the-brand-name holding company.
